The MO of big developers/producers/studios/manufacturers, w/e, is never the EXECUTION (which would fall on the blame of the people making it) of an event that failed, but the concept of it. But I think I'll also look back and say to myself, "You know what? You were happier doing what you did than what you'd have had to force yourself to do, and the doubloons were better spent in other places." I know I'll probably look back at this and wonder, as with the Benham grind, whether I shouldn't have just forged ahead and ground like mad for the big prize.
